Really really good. Tastes exactly like the Starborough Sauvignon blanc that love. Night of the IU/Duke game with Andrew. $12 @ TW — 9 years ago

Love a little better than Starborough. Purchased at Total Wine for $10.77. — 7 years ago
Very bright pink grapefruit, and a touch sweeter than the Starborough. I like it (for different reasons). We are having it with homemade chicken pot pie.
*This second bottle is more tart and grassy. I am wondering if I didn't get the year wrong the first time? — 9 years ago
Not as good as Oyster Bay or Starborough. — 12 years ago
Golden color, yellow rim. Burgundishy chardonnay barrique aroma comes with touch of grassy, grapefruit chsracter of sauvignon. Butter popcorn, savory, salumi, butter aromas. Med b. Med p acid. Med p intensity, smooth silky(fantastic body), kick of minerality-very well blended- with fruitness of sauvgnon. Bitter, saviry long finish with balanced fruit. Drunk with daluki osvaldo. Creamy risotto, good, prosciutto can be good with this. — 8 years ago
Tasted with the winemaker, the 2013
Matthiasson Napa Valley White is a stunning and racy blend of 55% Sauvignon blanc, 25% Ribolla gialla, 15% Semillon, and 5% Tocai friulano. Aromas of lemon verbena, lemon thyme and mint cavort with freshly cut green apple and lime zest. Semillon anchors this wine, and gives roundness and fleshiness, and a slightly creamy texture. Sauvgnon blanc lends tropical-herbal notes. It doesn't feel weighty at all, and there is plenty of citrusy, minerally tension on the finish. — 10 years ago

my new favorite! very crisp. enjoyable minerality. Notes of juicy grapefruit, maybe lemon? Finishes with lovely lemongrass, and a bit of jalapeño. 10/10! — 6 months ago
