South Crossing Gold Glacier Wine

Cooks Lot

Allotment No. 8 Handpicked Orange Shiraz 2014

Pronounced minerality and fresh cherry fruit finishing with grainy savoury tannins. From the relatively new viticultural area of Orange, this is an excellent example of cool climate Shiraz. Reminds me of the Chalkers Crossing (reviewed elsewhere on Delectable) which won 8 Trophies and grown in nearby Hilltops near Young. We gave this a Gold Medal at the The Toowoomba Wine Show in August 2017 and deservedly so I believe. — 6 years ago

South Crossing

Emperor Glacier Wine Syrah 2011

First time right have Syrah as dessert wine. Nice favour, not just sweet. — 9 years ago
