Dark berries, then a hint of moist soil on the nose. Continues with dark berries on the palate. Soft and smooth.
Full-bodied, dryish, medium finish.

This was a fun surprise at a tasting. It’s Chianti, but it’s surprisingly fresh and juicy, albeit with acid and tannin, as you’d expect. A bit effervescent, also a surprise. Paired well with grilled smoked salmon. — 2 days ago
