“... aromas of ripe forelle pears, white peaches, and buckwheat honey along with fleeting suggestions of linden flowers, lavender, and freshly sliced poblano peppers as the nose evolves in the glass.
“On the palate, the wine is a rounder and fuller counterpoint to racy Sancerre, with briny, sea salt-seasoned flavors of fresh pineapple, Meyer lemon, and ruby grapefruit interwoven with firmly hewn salty silex minerality.” — Moore Brothers Wine Co., Brooklyn — 3 years ago
2012 tasted in 12/2018. Deep garnet, medium to full bodied. Wonderful perfume of black cherries, floral notes, and wet stone. Opens up substantially in the glass. Decanting will coax out an enchanting bouquet. Palate characterized by not overly ripe red to black fruit character with great acid structure, tannins still young at this time. A well crafted wine such as this can handle some time in the cellar. An ABV of 14.5% would suggest a bolder, riper red but the depth, complexity, and balance of this wine is unrivaled among East Coast reds with the notable exception of similar blends from Linden. Very lovely with an old world style. — 5 years ago
Full bodied white, a Valais specialty with taste of Linden. Perfect pairing to the rich Chinese Dishes @ China Garden, Zermatt. Tomorrow lockdown of Restaurants starts here too 😩 — 3 years ago
2016 vintage. 30 Grenache Blanc 30 Clairette 30 Roussane 10 Bourboulenc. Blanched almond, beeswax, linden leaf, lemon pith, white grapefruit peel, lots of minerals. Acid definitely overrides any waxiness in texture. Good typicity. — 4 years ago
Quite a distinct mineral structure that reminds me on northern burgundy. Crisp acidity even at 7+ yrs from harvest. Still one bottle in the cellar… Ideally paired with a lemon citrus cream sauce meaty white fish entree — 7 months ago
So hard to believe that this was built on two year leaf grapes. Talk about a great rookie season! Mostly cab sauv , this did indeed punch far beyond it’s expected weight class. Complex yet fairly linear and sequential, this has the dna of the championship level big boy (glen manor/rdv/linden). While only a 375 mL bottle, it had aged remarkably well and would be worth another library investment if available ;) — 3 years ago
Excellent, very smooth.

Black fruit, bramble, barnyard, cola and sage. Rustic, with plenty of tannin left for another decade plus. — 23 days ago
