Opaque density with moderately slow tears. Slightly brambley nose, slight herb/mint, simple. Red to black cherry/lively raspberry. Front loaded on the palate w/smooth texture. Cassis, black cherry and blackberry lead the way to a diminishing finish with subtle dusty tannin. Lingering fruit finish. A crowd pleaser w/14.5% alc. Opened 3/20/15 — 11 years ago

14.4% ABV Dark color. Black fruit. Nice aromatics. My kind of Zin. Sourced from Forchini. 98% Zin, 2% P. Surah. — 2 years ago

Excellent full bodied. Will age more — 8 years ago
Light and fruit forward. Cherries and plums. Little depth and tannins. An enjoyable picnic wine with cheese, but not enough depth and terroir for a great steak. — 10 years ago
Very good - too bad the service at the vineyard was lacking :( — 11 years ago

Probably about at the end of this 2009 unless you super carefully store it. But it's very interesting, Dark toffee, caramel, kind of Madeira type notes. — 3 months ago
