Pleasant drinkable wine. Sweet cherry nose. Fruit forward moderately sweet cherry, dark berries and holiday spice on the palate. Nice balance of juicy acidity at the front with mouth tingling slight tannins for a moderately long finish. Im not normally a fan of sweeter wines but the spice and changing experience from the front to back of palate was a pleasant surprise. — 8 months ago
Sharp, dry, pale strawberry color — 2 years ago
Dark ruby color. Aromas of dark berry fruit, leather, sweet spices and roasted nuts. Cooked Black berry/raspberry/cherry fruit on the palate with notes of dark chocolate, plums and sweet and savory spices. Hint of vanilla on the long and silky finish. Smooth tannins but a bit light on acidity. Pleasant and well crafted. Thanks for sharing, Keith S! — a month ago

surprise surprise - hit or miss with this NC winery, but this is fantastic! Left Bank style, classy oak integration, gobs of red & black fruit, prominent spice and secondary layers, great extraction & tannic grip. just really solid & enjoyable all the way round. bump for QPR — 5 days ago
