The epitome of fresh- lemon and lime, lime peel, green apple. It dances bright and on the palate in an angular fashion with the same intense flavors that trail. Slightly bitter finish. Overall good quality. Ecocert organic certified. — 4 years ago

In a nutshell, red fruits, bright acidity, tar and earth with silky smooth tannins. Not a lot on the finish but for $15, this wine delivers and is food friendly. From the Grumello sub-app. — 4 years ago

Mixed forest berries, sweet spice, garrigue, dried herbs, eucalyptus hints; less ripe berries, acidic arch, dusty grippy tannins yet fine. Yowsa on the palate! Nice job Justin. — 4 years ago

Enjoyable Muscat de Beaumes de Venise from the quality coop Rhonea. First whiff unexpected- slight petrol smokiness mixed with honey and lemon. Light yet rich on the palate and not the slightest bit cloying. Not lengthy but for under 15€, nice sipper. — 5 years ago

Barbera d’Asti DOCG from second generation of the Buganza family. Organic property, minimal intervention wines. Fruit and earth- dark cherry, plum, blackberry, dried brush, dried herbs, old leather; a blast of fresh M+ acidity followed by slightly rustic M tannins mingle in a balanced fashion on a medium finish. It has the structure to hang out a few more years yet drinking delightfully now. A producer/property I’d love to visit, they’ve got a productive little ecosystem (fruits, vegetables) and a skin contact Arneis. — 4 years ago

Coppery golden brown; caramel dried citrus zest, dried figs, raisins, toasted nuts; palate reminiscent of toasted hazelnuts, cigars, old leather and bright citrus. Medium acidic backbone carries the wine. M+ length. Beautiful with 70% dark chocolate brownie after a Thanksgiving dinner. — 4 years ago

Drinking beautifully at 12 years. No chemicals used in the now 70 year old Melon vineyards. Lemon and lime peel, chamomile and a certain unctuousness. Round and very bright palate with a creamy feel from long lees aging with bâtonnage. Nearing its peak. Applaud this Muscadet Sèvre et Maine AOC wine from Edouard Massart. (super pairing with Ottolenghi roasted celery root steaks!) — 4 years ago

Whoa, coats the glass... macerated prunes, raisins, cocoa, caramel. A light lift on palate carries it for miles. Super with soft and chewy ginger molasses cookies or Pain d’Epices. — 4 years ago

Medium plus intensity black berry and cherry that meet violet and herby pine. Palate is fine, pure, with a perfect balance of acid and silky tannins. More red fruit, tree bark and iodine hints, so fresh yet elegant ending with a big smile. — 4 years ago
