I'll use Karen McNeils' usage of persons to describe this wine. This is King Kong dripping with grape juice. With a ruby color and blackberry, blueberry, chocolate covered cherries and spice on the nose. When we tasted the wine at first the alcohol disguised all the dark berries flavor but as it dissipated your mouth explodes with ripe cherries, vanilla, blueberries and spice. The tannins are well balanced too. This wine has a medium long finish and medium acid. I'd have this with a well trimmed ribeye with baked potato (butter, chives sour cream) and grilled asparagus. Even a good Bree and butter on a baguette... — 9 years ago
I liked this wine. It has a very old world profile. Not a lot of oak. nice acid and very tasty mineral-ity. I'd like to try it with a chicken or shrimp caesar salad or maybe some other type of seafood... I think its cool that they pick these grapes at night too. — 9 years ago
This was very good. lots of butter and fruit. Im thinking I'd try it with a fettuccine Alfredo. we had it with a baguette and some Bree and i could taste the butter all night!!! — 9 years ago

Nice yellow gold color. Green apples, ripe peach and a bit of butter and vanilla on the nose. Green apple, medium acid on the mouth with a bit of oak and vanilla on a shorter finish. I'd like this with some grilled chicken and grilled vegetables or even an angel hair pasta with a light summer cream sauce. — 9 years ago
