Fantastic wine from my favorite winery. Definitely not the sweetest wine, as it has a touch of bitterness to it - but it certainly blends well for an excellent flavor that goes well with food or on its own. You definitely can't go wrong with the Mallow Run Rhubarb, even if you prefer drier wines. — 9 years ago

Excellent Viognier. Low quality viogniers are way too bitter but this one was smooth and flavorful. — 9 years ago

Fantastic white blend, very well done and an excellent price to boot. If I'm not mistaken, it tastes like Gewürztraminer or Riesling - I'd have to look up the blend. It's on the dry side, but definitely has a decent amount of residual sugar to balance it well. Perfect on its own or paired with a meal. Dave Matthews makes some good wine. — 9 years ago

My favorite wine, period. Bitter and sweet at the same time brings a whole new meaning to the term bittersweet. I would order this wine in packs of 12 if it wasn't nearly $20/bottle. — 9 years ago

A little goes a loooong way. Worth the $3 tasting split between three (trust me, you'll want to split the tasting) but not worth the $50 asking price for a 375 ml bottle in my opinion. But if you like ice wine, go for it! — 9 years ago

Very tropical in classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc fashion. Grapefruit and fresh grass highlight this smooth and savory sauv blanc. Mild peppery finish with overtones of tropical fruit. After drinking a third of the bottle, we put it in a pitcher and kept it in the fridge for a few hours before coming back to it, which did wonders for the flavor. It opened the wine up quite a bit, and we all agreed it tasted much better the second time around. I recommend opening and letting it sit before drinking. — 9 years ago

Fantastic. Had this with dinner tonight and absolutely loved it. Sweet and fruity, didn't necessarily pair well with what I ate, but on its own was an excellent wine. — 9 years ago

Off-dry Gewürztraminer. I'm more of a Riesling drinker, but I actually liked this slightly more than Oliver's Riesling. Very well done, probably my second-favorite from this fantastic winery after the Catawba. — 9 years ago

One of my favorite Rieslings. On the dry side for Riesling but just enough sweetness to balance it out. Very much worth the price. — 9 years ago
