I am not a fan of the big "one note" chardonnays - all butter or all oak or nothing at all. So when I tasted this I was really happy. It has a little oak and a little buttery-ness, but not too much of anything. Just a really nice balanced wine. The folks I'm drinking it with all enjoyed it too, and they all have different preferences. I wish there were more wines made like this. NOTE: While reviewed honestly as a lover of balanced wines, Tobias is a winery that retains my sales and marketing firm. — 6 years ago

I've never had a bad Amarone, but this one is fantastic. Even the last bit of the bottle I had two days later. Big, bold, jammy dark fruit and big tannins, put it with the heartiest Italian or grilled food you make, and enjoy. — 6 years ago
