Loved the experience of this Chardonnay. The first couple sips were dominated by oak and spice. After that, melony citrus began to shine through. It got to the point that I felt a more fruity wine was going to burst through, but found it always stopping just short of overwhelming the taste or breaching being sweet. I love it when an inexpensive wine and a bit of patience pays off. One of the most brilliant deep red colors I've seen. Dark fruit taste is mellow, with a hint of chocolate. I've got one more of these and plan to drink it very soon. 11/14/2014 — 11 years ago
