Easy drinking lighter Bordeaux with just enough tannin and lingering finish to keep you coming back for another sip. Roquefort, Gorgonzola, aged English cheddar & prosciutto were all elevated by this wine…or was it the other way around. Delicious. — 3 years ago
Plums and dusty tannins straight out of the bottle, yet still easily quaffable. 5 minutes into the decanter: dried strawberries, cherries, blue fruit and a touch of baking spice & cola on the finish. 30 minutes in, the oak that this was obviously aged in, becomes quite prominent the longer it sits, but levels off and that’s a good thing. Sensational wine at it’s price point and very enjoyable once it’s opened up. Like most good wines, give it 30 in a decanter and it will surprise you. Yum. — a year ago
