Big rich wine. Fruit covers high alcohol. Satisfying supermarket ch. neuf. — 7 years ago
2012 vintage. Medium body. Rather boring. Okay with food.. on the decline. 20 euros Paris wine shop — 7 years ago
Spectacular radio fragrances and amazing balance. Dried flowers rose petals and spices mixed with plum skins and red cherry Pinot fruit. Alcohol breaks through here and there (13.5). Sandalwood and kirsch. — 6 years ago
This wine is hard to read. It was slightly corked, which was so slight that I was convinced it was some sort of syrah reduction funk. But it was cork. In the mouth however there was freshness which I know seems contradictory. Tons of fruit. Some effervescence. After being open for a couple of hours the wine got a little more musty with a tca note. Without this issue in another bottle I can easily imagine scoring it over a 9. — 7 years ago
2015 vintage. Natural wine making with no gas. An unpleasant note of reduction on opening and then red fruits, what one taster below describes as bramble berries seems accurate. Rose hips. possibly a deeper note of TCA or a touch of Brett - very faint and more of a palate thing than olfactory.. No new wood. Very nicely wound. 25 euros - Paris wine store. April 2018. — 7 years ago
Dense and compact fruit. Mostly Syrah. 14% alcohol. Smoky and jammy. Organic. Very solid effort for a supermarket wine at seven euros — 7 years ago
Smokey, strawberry, mineral spices in a medium body. Clean crisp winemaking. Great precious and clarity in palette of different flavors. 24 euros in Paris wine shop. 2015 vintage. May 4 2018. — 7 years ago
Chewy tannins and great concentration and balance. Feels like tight knit Grenache on the palate with cassis and spice and earthy notes — 7 years ago
Over the hill. 15% and blowing it hard . Confiture, caramel, old sweet Grenache notes. And sweet flavors. But heat mostly. Wine with character tho. Hard to actively dislike it. 2011. 18.5 euros in Paris wine store. — 7 years ago

I love this wine.for second label Bordeaux at €21 it just does not get any better. Sure there's a whack od oak.but by Bordeaux standards it actually fades away and allows for a great deal of fruit to come out. It's juicy and concentrated and has a nice bacon fat fat favor at the Onset. Consumed after my black fruits and minerals. Medium concentration. Absolutely amazing for the price. — 6 years ago
