Cain still doesn’t disappoint. Classic Napa not new Napa. Structure, élégance and, delicate. Not over the top, not too bold, not too much residual sugar. I so wish more wineries would revert to this style. — 5 years ago

For a 2014 it is still quite bright. Vibrant cherry and raspberry. Light undertone of cranberry but not in a negative way. Some RS, but not excessive or even coming close to current CA “dry” reds. — 4 years ago
Plum, fig, raisin and a little pepper and spice. Still holding up quite well after some moves. — 5 years ago

Who says Texas doesn’t do elegant and refined wines? Cinnamon and dark berries. Not heavy, but very well structured. Lingers on the palate. — 4 years ago

75% Tempranillo 25% Touriga. Very well structured. Thinner than expected. Showing really well right now. Should hold for another 2-4 years, possibly more. Wishing I had bought more. — 3 years ago
