Nice fruity nose, decent amount of fruit and spice. A little thin, and a short finish. Average for the price point. Nothing overly special. Would drink again if offered, but I won’t be purchasing another bottle for myself. — a year ago
Sour cherry and raspberry on the nose. Rough tannins, too much acid. Off balance for my tastes. Thin and one dimensional. Would not purchase again. Others may disagree. — a year ago
This is a great everyday drinker. Aromatic nose, burst of fruit on the palate. Medium-low acid, smooth tannins. Nice warming finish. Black cherry, currant, raspberry, plum. End notes of oak, vanilla, and a hint of cocoa. Adding to my regular rotation. — a year ago
Great bargain. Solid bourbon barrel Cab. Bold and jammy, with the right touch of sweetness. — a year ago
Average for my taste. Not great, not terrible. Fruity on the nose. Blackberry and raspy. Very thin. Milder tannins, but I didn’t care for the acidity. — a year ago
Wow. Big fruit bomb on the nose. Cherry, blackberry, raspberry. Hints of leather and vanilla. Cocoa and coffee. All of that came across the palate with smooth, supple tannins, and an extremely balanced acidity. Tasted more expensive than it was. — a year ago
Nice bargain cab. Prefer Josh Cellars by a slight margin. Fruity and smooth, but with a thin and shorter finish. — a year ago
Very nice Cali cab. Plum, blackberry, cherry jam. Vanilla, oak, and chocolate. Juicy, round tannins, medium-low acidity. A solid choice for either pairing with food or drinking on its own. The neat bottle shape also makes it a nice hostess gift. — a year ago
Unexpected delight. Decanted and allowed to breathe for about half an hour. Deep ruby color, good legs. Fragrant, fruity nose. First sip was meh. Second sip…it sprang to life. Rich cherry and blackberry. Hints of oak, vanilla, and cocoa. Tannins mellowed out and the acidity softened. Thought this was going to just an okay wine. I ended up enjoying it more than I thought. Would happily purchase again. — a year ago

Another great find at Trader Joe’s. For a bourbon barrel Cab, it fits the bill. Fruity, smoky, and slightly sweet. Great value for the price and makes a nice everyday drinker. For $8, keep a bottle or two on hand. — a year ago
