Medium body. Taste is not extravagant but resembles a "classic" California cab. Notes of bright fruit, oak, spice, and black currant. The tannins are a bit grippy, even grainy, but this could be because the wine was served 10 degrees F high than tastes comfortable. — 7 years ago
Rich and full bodied, yet lacking bite or attack. Muted tannins should help this wine age well. The wine tastes smoothly of cherry and has notes of smoked cedar, earth, and rock. — 7 years ago
The 2005 vintage in 2017 is a medium body wine that's pleasantly warm on the palate. Subtle notes of oak can be detected somewhere through the lingering tannins. The wine is well structured and tastes of raspberry, vanilla, and spice.
This wine at the present age has fine sediments that may be partially suspended. Pour carefully to avoid sediment in the glass. If the bottle has been disturbed, consider pouring through an organic unbleached coffee filter into a decanter to reduce suspended sediment. — 7 years ago

A very smooth people pleaser cab. Flavor is mild and not complex. Will taste dull on the pallette if it is any later than the first bottle served. — 7 years ago
