Blew me away! On the nose you've got currant, cherries and very little spiciness. The taste matches completely. Extremely smooth and fruity. Was excellent with steak & pasta. — 8 years ago

I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Dark and bold. Not bad on the nose - no explosion however. Very tame fragrance of sugared fruit, cloves. Taste fell flat for me, literally. Started off great but by the back of the tongue, was dead. Flavour overtone was more spice than fruit. Maybe an earlier vintage?? — 8 years ago
