This wine and I fought over 3 days, wanted to like but ultimately decided there are many more wines more enjoyable. Heavy dry tannin, plum and tart cranberry that was deconstructed and massively high VA for a 10yr old cdp. that ended hot. Tried alone, with food, none satisfied. Nose of flower garden with herbs in the corner. Pure, clean, balanced, fresh. Honeysuckle and agave nectar with a touch of vanilla from the oak. Worth the investment as comparable enjoyment from a chardonay would have to be in a higher price range. This is a super nice white. — 7 years ago

Stupid good blend mostly cab thats stupid hard to find as the Jackson Family doesn't seem to know how to fit it into their portfolio. I like these post 2011 better than the Stonestreet cab single vineyards. — 7 years ago

Lovely restrained natural style showing the relatively cool climent of this vineyard. Softly clouded color from the unfiltered bottling, good acid level with fresh fruit, should develop for several years but nice now. Very nice meeting the winemakers at their new tasting room in Los Olivos, CA — 7 years ago
