What a Merlot! Dark chocolate and plum for days. Again, the aromatics on these Kenzo wines are ridiculous. My only knock is that the finish is a bit bitter and astringent. — 7 years ago
Dark and concentrated in color with a very floral and savory profile of rose and dried herbs. More balanced and leaner than I expected coming from this producer which may be a testament to the cool vintage. Definitely some whole cluster used here. — 7 years ago
Beautifully ripe and concentrated while still retaining a slightly green pyrazine note that shows the true varietal character. The nose on this wine jumps out of the glass!! — 7 years ago
Very rich and tropical with lots of grilled pineapple and vanilla bean and coconut on the nose. Quite fresh and lively for a 2008 with surprising acidity and no sign of any oxidized nutty character yet. The persistent finish lingers for what seems like minutes on the palate. — 7 years ago
