The best bottle of wine I've ever had. A heavy and dry 100% cab. Aged beautifully with a perfect balance of oak influence. — 10 years ago
Not impressed with this Sonoma Merlot. It has the basic characteristics of a merlot with tannins more subtle than a cab, and the nose is pleasant but nothing to write home about: cherries, leather, caramel, butter, saltwater taffy. The taste is fairly bland: typical merlot flavor profile, no need to go any further. The finish is somewhat offensive: seaweed, rotting hay, sour apple, and bitterness. It's not the worst merlot I've ever had, but I'd only drink it again if the glass were free and offered to me by a chick with a pert rack. — 9 years ago
O'Brien Romance of the Heart 2012 Napa Blend. Basically everything O'Brien sells is exceptional and this is no different. Fruit forward - berries, plums, red licorice, and a little leather. Not extremely dry for a blend but packed with flavor. — 9 years ago
