Violet, cherry, raspberry and other red berries flavour and taste with rosy and earthy hints. Medium acidity, smooth tannins, balanced. Worth leaving to breathe for at least half a day as this greatly improve the smoothness. — 6 years ago
This wine needs at least half a day to breathe but after this the grenache sweetness shines, balancing the strength and spice of the shiraz nicely. The Mataro adds a beautiful purple colour to the wine. Medium bodied and good with or without food. — 6 years ago
2018 Vintage. 60% semillon, 35% sauvignon blanc, 5% chardonnay. With a fragrant bouquet of white flowers and citrus blossom leads into a juicy-fruity palate bursting with life, tropical/stone fruit notes to open with, citrus to finish. As ever, Margaret River does with nonchalant ease what others can only dream of. The synergistic and seamless union between the varieties provides great structure. — 6 years ago
Quite peppery, lingering tastes of blackcurrant and spices. A fruity drop that would accompany cheese and chocolate well. — 6 years ago
Beautiful Cab Sav (2009 vintage). Robust yet refined. Leave to breathe for at least half a day. Would go well paired with a robust tomato dish or a medium rare beef steak. — 6 years ago

Vintage 2016. Bold fruit, biting acidity. Red fruit, dark red cherries, graphite, wet soil, violets and vanilla brings out the Oak. Moving onto some soft silky tannins then the acidity takes over making for a lovely finish. Breathe for half a day. — 6 years ago

2014 Vintage from Eden Valley. Ruby red with garnet hues. Alluring aromas of wild red currant and raspberry, spiced cherry and Turkish delight with underlying nuances of rosehip, tobacco leaf and charcuterie. Dried rosemary and spice complexity, sit upon a well-structured palate with a driving red currant acidity, enveloping core of fine-grained and creamy tannins, which persist for a beautifully long finish. Matured for 10 months in used French hogsheads, This is a truly remarkable and enjoyable wine. — 6 years ago
