We asked the waiter to decant and after 15 minutes the bouquet opened nicely. Smooth, fruit forward wine with subtle tannins. Excellent with a hearty meal of lamb Ragu. — 6 years ago

I wasn't impressed by the bouquet but was happily surprised by the full mouth fruitiness and smooth finish. Smooth tannins in the 2012 vintage. As with most complex refs a half hour in the glass opened the bouquet and improved the smoothness. Nice wine for the price. — 8 years ago
