Ubiquitous rose in the local wine shops. Light pink color with strawberry nose and similar palate. Pairs well with lighter dishes, but have had it stand up to pizza well. Solid intro to the rose world. $9.99 at Solo Vino in St. Paul. #rosesummer — 10 years ago
Fruit forward zin with nice restraint. Jammy but with some finesse. Pairs well with food. Looking forward to 2012 vintage which vineyard owners suspect will be even better. — 10 years ago
Really fantastic. Need to explore more from this producer. Complex, balanced and sturdy. Major league Rioja. — 8 years ago
One of my favorite roses from the summer. Nice salmon color. Nice rounded taste. Prefer the bolder red grape roses. This paired really well with arugula/peach salad and pork chop. — 8 years ago
Dusty, light cherry notes. Aged nose, which is very enjoyable, leads to intricate light Pinot Noir flavors. Paired very well with grilled center cut pork chops and roasted vegetables. Crazy value for $16.99 at Solo Vino in St. Paul. — 10 years ago
Nice go-to Tuscan. Around $12 at Thomas Liquors in St. Paul. Pairs well with food, including the usual Italian suspects (pasta, pizza, etc.) — 10 years ago
1998 vintage. Beautiful nose, clean finish on the palate. One of the best wines I've had in a restaurant all year. Paired with grilled octopus and swordfish at Sepia in Chicago. — 8 years ago
Ten years out for this right bank. Showing nicely. Really dark color still but age shows the 10 year age. Nice depth. Sediment in glass and bottle noticed. Dusty red fruit on nose and palate. Paired well with beef and chicken Kebobs. $39-41 bottle with futures purchase from Wine Streets Spirits back in 2006. — 10 years ago
Lighter red color. Nice sour cherries on nose and pallet. Good acidity. Nebbiolo blend with a bit of merlot. 19.99 at Thomas Liquors in St. Paul. #PWWStPaulWineReviews — 10 years ago

Best of the Beaujolais tested for Thanksgiving this year. Dusty berry nose are the best notes of this wine. Even more full bodied with some air time. Going to be nice with the honey glazed game and Brussels sprouts. Much better than some cru Beaujolais sampled. — 8 years ago
