You're right. I revisited this wine last night and it was a totally different experience. My mistake. I ordered a glass at a restaurant and it clearly had turned.
You are a most gracious gentleman not to react to my undeserved barbs. The result of too many glasses of wine and finding out that you can't erase your own comments! Cheers!

Starts as a typical California sav with lots of citrus on the nose (Orange), light. But finished with an intense peppery spice! Very interesting wine. — 10 years ago

Notes of citrus (lemon, grapefruit) on the nose. Also notes of grass. Little to no black currant. On the palate, somewhat sweet for a sav and somewhat full bodied for a California sav. Would imagine this might stand up well to a creamy pasta or stronger cheeses. — 10 years ago
