The moment I laid eyes on the bottle I knew this was going to be special, after all 2016 was a great vintage.
A delightful burst of savoury dried and sour fruit flow from the bottle as I pull the cork free. Dark, elegant and floral.
Tastebuds could not wait to endulge themselves as my palate is encompassed in a velvet smooth layer of sour red cherry, raspberry, hints of dark berry, dark chocolate, pepper with dried rose petals and subtle toastiness. An inviting balance of tart fruit and tannins married wondefully with an enjoyable dry finish, leaving my tastebuds with a pleasant chewy character, craving more as the wine tapers off. — 7 years ago
The wine envelopes the characteristics of what Nebbiolo should taste like. Lovely pot pouri, dried meats and freeze dried raspberries w dark velvety black fruit. Savoury dry fine tannins w a fair amount of oak. Good little drop if you want to try Nebbiolo or something super easy to drink. Matched w pork and herb sausages, capsicum, red onions and red wine and herb sauce w gnocchi. — 4 years ago
Strongly dislike this wine, I found it to be over oxidized and bitter. — 7 years ago

Delightful red with typical characteristics sought after in Cabernet. Dark forest fruit, touch of bitter chocolate and savoury meats, with a hint of bell pepper and toastiness. Wonderful richness coating the mouth with near perfect balance of tannin and fruit. Bold well rounded masculine wine. — 7 years ago
Not too bad considering 2012 was not a great vintage. Merlot is the star but her sisters fair a little underipe. Keep another 2 years. — 7 years ago

Very bright cirtus fruit, a little too much. Lasting impressions on the palate, as enjoyable as a drive to the supermarket in the middle of winter with the windows down. Burst of aged pineapple, hints of over ripe nectarine and new oak. A wine from an '02 vintage, it was disappointing wine. — 7 years ago

Nose is incredible, so many flavours of savoury dried meats, pepper, black rich fruits and some sour berries...that is where it stopped for me. Palate is mouthwatering with acid, bright red berries, sour freeze fried red fruit with a femenine light texture. No balance for me at all, sadly! Noting that this has a Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah blend I expected more from it. — 3 years ago
