This is the 2004. They put the vintages on the back. Had this at Embeya (amazing wine program) in Chicago. Gorgeous. Young and vibrant. Every stony element you would expect from Pichler in the context of a crisp, fruity and complex backdrop. Smoking with that food too. — 9 years ago
Classic older Arlot. Smells like freshly poured cement, smoked raspberries and damp basement. Once some dissolved CO2 blows off it is very expressive and nuanced. More depth and red fruit comes out as it opens. Quite good. Very Arlot — 10 years ago
This was excellent and when it.opened up towards the end it was quite profound. Years ahead of it but terrific now. — 9 years ago
Beautiful. Youthful. 5 more years at least to maturity. — 9 years ago
Very red fruited and initially tight. Opened beautifully. Rich while being tightly wound with acidity. Drinking just great. — 10 years ago
Drinking very nicely. Crisp and firm with excellent definition. Complexity isn't off the charts mor will it dovetail into something amazing. Nonetheless very good wine. Bought on property for around 18 euro. Thanks to Jay Somers for opening it. — 10 years ago
This was lovely. Lots of character and little to none of the 2004 greenies. While not at the level of other Mugnier Bonnes Mares this is still a delicately powerful and supple wine. Years in front of it. — 9 years ago
Drank alongside the 2000 Asili. Darker in fruit, flashier and plumper. Not quite the edge and focus of the Asili but still a nice Barbaresco with good bottle age on it. Less further upside than the Asili but eminently drinkable and will hold as well. — 10 years ago
First time I tasted it since 2008 when I had it just before bottling at the domaine. Rich and full. Perhaps more vintage than site which can be the case for some 2006s but not heavy or fat. Quite tasty and drinking very well. Probably better over the next 5 years than after that. Was a bargain back in the day. — 10 years ago

Excellent. True.old.school Barbaresco. When this opened up after couple hours it was profound. Fantastic now and for many years ahead. Decant for sure. — 9 years ago
