Fairly intense colored Old Vine style Zinfandel from Lodi. Ripe raspberry and cherry fruit highlighting a light spice note typical of Zin. Lingering, plummy, juicy on the palate with round-ripe tannins. Finishes long and wonderful with BBQ, pasta, flavorful cheese & fruit platters or simply in its own. — 7 years ago
Medium colored and balanced body, soft palate and very easy drinking red blend. The feel of a nice blended Merlot with some Zin fruit and spice. — 7 years ago

New venture for the Morgan Family, this Torrontes from Mendoza Argentina is an impressive start to collection. Floral aromatics and intense connection to the grape (always live to see the light green tinge of color showing me that the winemaker handled the fruit with kid gloves)
Very fresh and bright fruit with a hint of honeysuckle and melon with a creamy palate that reminded me of cream soda when I was a kid (nice memory connection).
Finished long with alluring 'umami' effect drawing me back to the glass.
Excellent contribution to the grape! — 7 years ago
