Love, love, love! Of course, I'm loving almost all wine from Oenopole that I have tried thus far. Ciao Sicilia!!! A beautiful fresh red, a blend of 60% Nero d’Avola and 40% Frappato... made in cement and aged for at least 18 months. Beautiful ruby-red in colour... floral notes, cherry, spices and smoke. Mellow cherry red and slightly opaque. Smells of freshly peeled blood oranges. Tastes of tart ripe stone fruit, blood oranges. Good structure, mild tannins, pet-nat, and hints of licorice. Perfecto! — 9 years ago
