Celebrating the inauguration with a 2004 shiraz. Not made in America but the oak might be. The label seems to say 16.2% alc. Overly extracted with Raspberry jam notes. Wouldn't be my first choice. — 8 years ago

Great purity of fruit. Nicely integrated oak with very modern style. Light tannin for a cab. None of the jam pursued by past vintners but still great bright fruit. Perhaps best with a few more years in bottle. — 8 years ago

Perfect wine to celebrate a penn state win. Apricot, honey, marmalade, plenty of glycerol. No 2001 but a tremendously enjoyable wine. Better after a few days of air. — 9 years ago
