Well balanced wine. Very easy drinker with fair amount of complexity. Probably because of the 20% Merlot it has a certain slight sweetness. It's well structured in the mouth and, thanks to the 70-80% Malbec, is not too velvety. $12-14 — 12 years ago

Delicious! Had this with lamb prepared with frutti di basco in a wonderful family trattoria in Lucca. The well balanced not overbearing jammy fruit flavors paired perfectly. I would love to taste this one again. — 12 years ago

Pleasant sparkling wine. This vintage is a 2007 (5 years old when I drank) therefore the vibrancy of its youth has passed. What remains is an enjoyable taste with a slightly rounded off feel in the mouth. At about $15-$16 I'll revisit this one soon. — 12 years ago

I tasted this one almost 2 years ago. The exact details of this wine I can't recall, but what I do remember is that this was the best Soave I've ever tasted. May be hard to find, it was I wine I looked into importing. — 12 years ago

The body of this wine is on the lighter side for a Côtes du Rhône. Pleasant floral elements and the perfect amount if acidity that make this wine great for drinking regularly. With a price of about $10 a bottle, I find myself drinking this one a good bit. In fact, I chose this one for my wedding. — 12 years ago

Nicely balanced Bourgogne for the price. Floral elements with a slight pepperiness, but not that of a California Pinot Noir. This wine goes particularly well with a strawberry and pepper 77% cacao that I happened to have lying around. — 13 years ago
