This wine has bright acidity, notes of citrus, green apples, yellow pears and white flowers. Which went very
well with the grill fennel with mustard seeds sauce and prosciutto, sweet potatoes, portobella mushrooms and skirt steak which was season with just salt, pepper and some mustard seeds. This wine is very well structured and the flavors are intense with earthy and mineral driving finish which went great side by side the stake. — 4 years ago

A new favorite among my reds....if you see it make sure to try it. It has a nice body with a nice smooth taste. It's from a very good and small vineyard that has some of the best 100% Pinot Noirs in the Sonoma Coast — 9 years ago
The 2010 Solare was an outstanding vintage, made out of blend of mainly Sangiovese and Malvasia Nera. Its beautiful ruby color has started to show tints of garnet on the rim, the nose is full of aromas of cranberries, tart cherries, plums all in different stages. The palate is full, balanced, rich with lively acidity, soft tannins and a long complex finish.
I personally enjoy wines with age as I like to explore how the flavors and aromas change over time. In this one you can clearly experience the fruits going from fresh to dry. ⏰ We let it open in a decanter for a few hours and after serving, it continue to develop in the glass. — 4 years ago
Is full and rich but without the execessive oak and sugar more typical from California Zin
You can feel almond, plum, dark berry flavors
I though it was going to be high in tannins as the color is a deep dark purple, but surpringly it just has medium tannins
Is a sustainable farmed vineyard. Interesting fact: their use of sheep to mow and fertilize the vineyard, instead of tractors, helps prevent erosion and reduces the threat of wildfires

🍷 When is hot and humid out sometimes I just feel like drinking a light and super cold wine. This 2020 The Pale Rosé by Sacha Lichine is exactly that I was looking. Yes, it’s called The pale after its transparent pink color, but don’t let that fool you as it has plenty of flavor. Its expressive in the aromatics as well as in the palate with raspberry, and fresh fruits notes reminding me of Provence style.
It goes in quick as you can see, but this is a great value for under $15 in most markets. — 3 years ago
