Dark stone fruit tones provide a light thin front end flavor followed quickly and harshly by a strong tannin and slightly alcoholic flavor. Very little balance or transition from one flavor to the next provided. Earthy flavors seem to be the only continuity of flavor. Certainly left wanting more.

Full cherry/fruit introduction. The flavor is appropriately dry while still presenting a low tannin profile. Though the cherry flavor is not interrupted by the tannins it still does not linger long, left immediately wanting another sip since the flavor vanished. Good flavor overall.

Thought a headache might come but none did — 10 years ago
