This wasn't bad. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again, but wouldn't run away from it either. Kind of earthy with a spicy finish but a little on the weak side. If you don't like very bold reds this could be good for you. $12 at Trader Joes and on their top 50 wine list. — 11 years ago

For a person that's never been big on white wine, I LOVE this one. So crisp and tangy with a really nice kick. Had this with turkey burgers as tex-mex quinoa salad and it complemented everything perfectly. Props to New Zealand. — 11 years ago

Dark, rich and very *mildly* tannic. Extremely smooth. Hints of vanilla and cherry. Has the boldness of a cab but the softer qualities of merlot definitely make themselves felt. Great buy for only 10 bucks! — 12 years ago

Bold and smoky. This is a nice strong cab. Pretty sure they make a Syrah too but I've only tried the cab. Extremely full bodied with a strong finish. — 12 years ago
