Delicious wine- add restraint, well structured, balanced nice red fruit- not jammy- salty stone warm hay- good with poultry, as a cocktail wine- ideal with duck or meaty fish - has good acidity to cut the game — 7 years ago
Good wine- interesting palate and finish- I would say mid palate with a. Nice structure to it: — 7 years ago
Amazing wine/ drank 2006 reserve- this wine can age longer I believe. Overall a very unique wine with tons of character- the tamisco grape is unique to the coastal region of Portugal - one of the old heirloom vines- and because I like thin mineral reds this is my dream come true for sipping wine! If you have a chance of getting this wine- Buy it by the case and hold on to it - very unique and should be more recognized for the hen that it is. — 7 years ago

Very nice light crisp Chianti. Enjoying with fall flavors- nicely balanced wine with a hint of light smoke on the finish. Definitely recommmend if you like light reds with r served tannins. — 7 years ago
This wine has been rated already and I would say it is spot on! Delicious in all its subtleties and it delivers- great wine for the 20$ range so buy with confidence. I don’t think this is a wine to keep in the cellar for the long run as it’s a bit thin. — 7 years ago
This wine totally surprised me- was way better than I expected. The wine has a nice opening - The body is nicely structured and the finish is wonderful and refreshing. This is a great all around sipper if you like acid forward with a vanilla dip at the end. — 4 years ago
Cool that this is sustainable agriculture- and cool that this is from the Serra da Estrella area - famous for pristine honey and delicious Serra da Estrella cheese- this wine is a blend of 3 grapes/ and cool that it has 25 percent jaen (mencia or to some Cabernet franc typology) - I paid roughly 12$ for this bottle so it’s not pricey in anyway so considering you get sustainable agriculture and a great tri blend this is a good deal. The wine on the palate is fine- it just lacks focus. It’s a mid palate wine that has no highs or lows and I feel with a bit more finesse could actually be a great inexpensive and leading wine. The profile is mid to deep fruits with out the punch so it leaves you wanting a bit more- or as I like to say a high or a deep low to hunker into and enjoy. Portugal has great wines and they are priced all over the place- it would be amazing if this wine could deliver what a 20-25 dollar value delivers at this price point and maintain the sustainability as one of its monikers. — 7 years ago
This is a really great wine- and I think it can go further- curious to see how my other bottles condition to 2019. This producer is amazing and their property and vines are incredible! All they produc is 199% enjoyable- this particular vintage and reserve is exceptional - deep ruby color- strong fruit and nice wood on it from - but ultimately it’s the bottle conditioning that has done the most service on this wine. I opened in September 2017- the wine was fantastic and th cork crumbled upon opening. The wines have been cellared in constant conditions- and I still think this wine can go to 2019- I’ll recap- but all in all a really class wine that shows uniqueness! — 7 years ago
