One comment said drinkable mid week. I completely agree. Soft, not too fruity. A little spice and warmth on the finish. Nothing stands out too much. This is a nice wine for the price. — 4 years ago
Purchased after a great tour a few years ago. Stronger fruit than I am used to given I live in Willamette Valley. But of spice, which I really like. This could hold up equally well to a lighter dish as it could to meats. — 4 years ago
One of the few merlots I have had lately that tasted like something. Earthy with a bit of oak. Not fruit forward, but still there. Super easy drinking. — 4 years ago
I bought this to cook with in a few dishes. It has the pleasant medicine notes I love on Chardonnay, but I also find it a little too high acid and almost metallic. — 4 years ago
Doesn’t taste like much beyond dull black fruit and an oak finish. A little bit of spice. Warm. Maybe a decent wine to spice around the holidays. — 4 years ago
Nice spice and wood with a sherry, cherry like note. — 4 years ago
Light bodied. Low alcohol with a bit of spice, then fruit, then barrel. It’s pretty young but I don’t see this one as something to put back. Great deal for the price. Definitely an everyday wine. — 4 years ago

Strong but soft tannins. Little burst of acidity to balance it. Deep, almost opaque purple. Beautiful wine. — 3 years ago
