Soft fruit, a touch less savory than most recent CabFrancs I've tasted...but still with characteristic varietal traits ....wonderful winery.

Structure, balanced, layered fruit. A fine earthiness. This is a fantastic value. So well-made for the price....In style, somewhere between a Bordeaux and Chateauneuf du Pape...wow.
I'm looking for more of this, from any year... — 10 years ago

Big and unruly on opening...
wrestled with a glass night one; still frustrating with a half glass night two;
forgot about it and drank good beer night three;
checked to see if it'd turned on night four:
it had turned into a well balanced wine...

Big.
Really big.
Huge.
Alcohol and fruit! Extraction to the nth degree. I liked it because now I know that there is a Merlot for Petit Syrah and Zinfandel drinkers... Who knew? Not for the meek. — 10 years ago
