Magen Ellis
Will punch you in the face with notes of leather and berries. Very strong mouth feel. Very dry finish. Tannic. Typically added to Grenache or Syrah to add tannins and berry notes. A dark concentrated wine. Also used in Ports. It's a really good representation of the grape - of what it's supposed to be. Not sure if I'd buy this again, but if seen paired with another grape, would get it. — 9 years ago
