This 2006, drunk in 2017, is really interesting and perfect for me personally. On the nose it's first violets and deep red fruits and immediately tastes of light leather with a delicate earth balance. As it opens up you get more of the tanins on the nose rather than just the palate. Once open the flavor is of light earth with a bit of leather on the end and I honestly tasted a bit of sweet corn at one point. So interesting!! Highly recommend!! — 8 years ago
