This reminds me of a popular name brand of Lambrusco when it comes to sweetness level. It's nowhere near Muscato, if you fear that. It is super jammy and flavorful of cherries and blackberries (to me), but is really well grounded by the salty, mineral taste I always get off of Shiraz wines. I'm normally not a sweet or sweet-ish wine drinker, but I'd happily add this to my rotation when I feel like something smoother and sweeter than Cab Sav or Merlot. I think it's super easy to drink and a great wine for a crowd of mixed tastes between sweet and dry — 9 years ago

I like it! It's got that salty note I like about Syrah. It's a bit musty/earthy. Calm, not acidic or very bright. There could be more going on, but I won't complain for the price!
