Freshly laid road, dried violet and bramble fruit on the nose. Unbelievably bright and energetic on the palate, softened, fine but firm tannin and acidity that lingers for a long time. — 10 years ago
Low alcohol approachable "orange" wine. Very organic nose of fresh rain and copper coins overtop of yeasty aromas, stone fruit and orange peel. Refreshing and crushable but intriguing and confusing at the same time. Would be fantastic with some sort of rich pasta. Rabbit agnolotti, or braised beef Saltimbocca in pasta shells — 10 years ago
Delicate red and black fruit, sweet baking spice, fresh rain and bell pepper on the nose. Crunchy red apple on the palate, very long soft finish of spice and game, pretty amazing for an average vintage. — 10 years ago
Unabashedly Australian. Nose is powerful and still very youthful. BBQ'd meats and dessicated black fruits. Baked plum on the palate with juicy, soft tannin. Needs some lamb, duck or rabbit to truly be appreciated. I'm very biased and love this wine — 10 years ago

Oxidized pennies, mushroom, bell pepper, smoke and stewed plums. Very organic nose, compost and wet dark soil. Graceful tannins and acidity. Surprisingly fresh, but slightly hollow. Great bottle! — 10 years ago
Beautiful Salmon colour. Bright red fruit nose alongside Provençal herbs, think rosemary thyme and Lavender. Very juicy, fleshy red bush fruit on the palate with lots of refreshing acidity. 11 out of 10 on the crushable scale — 10 years ago

From an Imperial bottle (6L). Very closed nose, but floral and vegetal, surprisingly youthful on the palate. Too young I think — 10 years ago
