I love learning and sharing all things wine. I travel for beaches, food and the wines that pair with each! To friends and colleagues, I am the go-to Wine Girl...
Peppery red cherry meaty wine on the nose. Spicy luscious fruit that tantalizes the senses through the entire palate experience, with satisfying yet soft finish. Pairs decently with pecorino cheese. Yields a bourbon quality when paired with peppered pork tenderloin. — 18 days ago
Go-to house wine. I dont mind opening anyday, anytime, for any type of wine drinker. $10 a bottle, by the case. Smooth and easy paired with foods or on its own. Layered beyond its price point. Definite value house wine. Paired tonight with my homemade spicy pasta pancetta. — a month ago
Fresh green pepper and succulent ripe blackberry on the nose. Balsamicky goodness, makes you think it should be super thick in consistency but it carries a light delicate mouthful. Yummy yummy. Pour this over your salad, your pork chop, in your bath, any place that needs the soft spots marinated. Likey, likey. — 4 days ago
2 hours decanting minimum recommended. Blackberry, coffee and a little bret on the nose. Full berry tobacco and tannins followed with a bitey lengthy finish. A fighter! Atypical for montepulciano, a great disguise and perfect for a blind tasting to surprise a winey crowd. Pair with a mild gorgonzola cheese; the intensity of the aged bleu cheese I paired overpowered the wine, but was matching in the complememtary flavor palate. — a month ago
