A bit tannic for my taste given it is Pinot noir. However I liked the complexity and it went well with the lamb. It was an interesting wine but not typical. Not fruit forward. Lots of secondary tastes. I got more earth than I would have expected, but still, very pleasant. I rated it perhaps a bit low because it was atypical. But don’t let that keep you from tasting it. — 7 years ago

The bottle I got was muddled tastes as if someone said, “oh no, the Malbec isn’t very good. Throw in some other stuff.” — 5 years ago

Aromatic at the start with a nose of dark fruit and vanilla. It evolves to earth tones and hints of violet. Medium body with well structured tannins. — 7 years ago

This started with a raisin taste and not much more. Almost no nose. After an hour there was some plum dark fruit and a touch of cinnamon. Soft tank is and medium body. Had this a a restaurant without much choice in wine. I would not look for this... — 6 years ago
Before aeration, it was a bit acidic. The nose was black fruit but without much intensity. On three palate it began with a tart raspberry and grew to blackberry and blueberry, perhaps some cassis. It finished with smooth tannin but didn’t linger. I can’t say it left a lasting impression, but was reasonable value for the price. After aeration the wine still hadn’t opened much. Perhaps there were notes of less dark fruit such as cherry and a hint of allspice. — 7 years ago

Kind of jammy and sweet for a cab. Monolithic taste for me. Drinkable but lacks complexity. — 5 years ago
