Light flavor, medium tannins. A little plum with subtle smoke at the finish. Very good bargain for the price. Tried it with some alfredo, but is simply stated and would pair well with any pasta (bolognese), chicken or veal — a year ago
Low end Caymus. Reasonble restaurant pick. — a year ago
Feteasca neagra. Romanian, locally grown grapes. Dry, slightly fruity. Plum, vanilla full bodied. Great pairing with hearty Romanian dishes. — 2 months ago
Dark cherry, licorice. Very dry red. Paella, if it includes the chorizo, — 8 months ago
Licorice, dry. Very dry. 6% petit verdot, had a nice bite to it. I think we had this at the end of its life. Picked it up at the vinyard in 2012, stored it well. — a year ago
A very balanced syrah. Plums, low acid, medium tannins. Great food wine. — a year ago
Started out fruit forward, plums, blackberries. After a little more air, it mellowed, and the rich tannins and earthiness shown thru. An hour plus in a decanter is needed. Then it is more of an old world Bordeaux. Stews, lamb, short ribs. — 3 months ago
A little chewy upfront. Nice punch of cabernet. Then the cab franc and Petit Verdot show up. Dry and rich. Nice sipping with dinner. Went well with lamb and polenta. — a year ago
Heavy, dry. Plums at first, licorice at the end. Lots of tannins. Serve with something beefy. 1 hour+ in the decanter first. — a year ago

Strawberries and vanilla, just a hint of acidity. Medium tannins. A red blend, not sure what just yet, but it feels like grenache. I had it as a restaurant wine, good choice for that (not as overpriced as some of the other selections). Paired well with a waygu flank steak. — a month ago
