Light and crisp, with a slight effervescence when it hits your tongue. Sweeter than a Sauvignon Blanc, but not syrupy. Less acidic than a SB. Reminiscent of a cider. Notes of green apple. — 12 years ago
Much smoother and less tannic montepulciano. — 11 years ago

Better than we remember, this bottle was aged at least 3 months more. — 11 years ago
Dry but pleasantly sippable, paired well with beef. Hearty red with minimal tannins. — 11 years ago
Wine we brought home from Italy. Upon first tasting in Italy, fresh, crisp, and acidic. Brought home a bottle to age 7 months, less crisp, less acidic, almost a stale taste lingers on the tongue, tastes more like a steel aged Chardonnay than we remember. Hints of almond mouthfeel. Might pair better with a pork dish now than a seafood dinner it is being paired with. Less for salads or other al fresco dining--it has gained serious body. Deeper flavor, more like a Pinot Gris now. — 11 years ago
