Dry, chalky, delicious. Worked well with the braised chicken tacos — 9 years ago

Lush, full, velvety bright acidity and just an all around pleasure. — 9 years ago
Before it opened up, I was struck by a nostalgic taste I can only describe as newly opened toy. A plastic taste that is by no means a bad thing. That with light tannins and full mouth feel make this a thoroughly enjoyable wine. Going to let it breathe and play with my G.I Joes. — 10 years ago
Sooooo good! Tannins so smooth you'd think it's out of balance but from start to finish this wine is delicious and stands on its own. — 9 years ago
Yes! Smooth, smoky, velvety and delicious! — 9 years ago
Amazing! Saved this for a steak dinner and it was worth the wait. The grilled tri-tip was an excellent complement. After decanting for an hour the Cabrador opened wonderfully. The muted tannins from the Cab and peppery spice notes from the Temparnillo blend perfectly. But if you are lucky enough to score a bottle of this lush and limited libation, I have a suggestion. Drink this with pan seared beets with butter, salt, and a couple drops of honey. The sweetness of the beets plays perfectly with the robust yet earthy deliciousness of this wine. — 10 years ago

Superb well crafted Petite Sirah. Tight tannins that don't overwhelm but add to the experience. Lush comes to mind but doesn't exactly fit the bill. Too straight forward to be lush. Very enjoyable, good fruit and pairs with lamb quite well. — 9 years ago
