Recently bottled. Lively attack and fiery mid-palate lead to a delicate finish. Lots of cask wood flavors. Could have better balance and more complexity and life. — 11 years ago
Aromas of cedar and rose. On the palate, at first the predominant flavor is wine-soaked wood, coupled with a high acid finish. Over time, a pleasant kriek character develops, but not as much as in another half bottle I opened last November.
