As a beverage manager I was seeking out a new BTG option that was a low-priced red which could pair with our fresh island fish plates. As soon as I tasted this I knew it was the one. Very bright red fruit, med-high acidity with herbal notes. I’m highly impressed by this CC 🤙 — 6 years ago
It’s a good collection of Napa cabs and a decent representation of what Napa offers. In my opinion this one is good but not great. — 7 years ago
I tasted this next to many different Italian reds. The wine is awesome. It’s best by its self but would go well pairing with lamb, pork or beef. Very complex with flavors like tomato leaf, dirt, herbs, blackberry and spice. It had a slight oak quality and soft tannins. It has a beautiful dark ruby color and provided a nice clean finish. Overall it’s balanced yet complex. Try it, you’ll be surprised. — 5 years ago
After 5 hours in the decanter this is an exciting vintage to experience. It has classic notes of black mission figs mixed with hints of tobacco and tar. Slight hints of vanilla still lingers. A nearly perfect Nebbiolo in my opinion. It is just awesome what this grape does with age. Slowly developing exactly what I’m looking for. The tannins are still around where it has potential for more time in the cellar. I really loved this wine and it’s now near the top of my Nebbiolo list — 6 years ago
Light bodied and little tannins. Perfect red wine for food. Not big enough for red meat. — 7 years ago
This is blend of all their vineyards in Columbia Valley. Black cherry, very slight herbal note, smoke, slight spice, good acidity. It’s still very young. — 5 years ago
High alcohol level Pinot noir. Dark ruby color with plum and bing cherry flavors. Good tannin placement with balanced acidity and a round body. Overblown for food pairing but it’s good by itself. — 6 years ago
It tastes like the Russian river valley with a balance of acidity, minerality and slight vanilla. — 7 years ago

I had this opened next to a 2007 Opus One. It spent an hour in the decanter. I actually preferred over the opus one. It has a deeper color and provided notes of blackberry, vanilla and pepper. Gravity fed winery, very cool. — 5 years ago
