Three year vertical tasting - 2011, 2012, 2013 - Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Unbelievable development between 4th and 6th leaf. Planted to heritage clones, all three display lush red fruit. Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir. Deep ruby color with bright red fruit and beautiful acid indicative of a cool climate Pinot. Great structure with notes of winter spices, coffee and chocolate. Produced by two of nicest guys I have have ever met, Rich Aurillas and Dave Roberts - both former baseball players and all around good guys. Only 150 cases produced. — 10 years ago
