Definitely get lots of dark fruits, mainly plum. Very subtle start, but has a nice, long lingering finish. At 14.5% alcohol, you definitely feel it after one glass. — 6 years ago
Strong fragrance of red fruit like strawberries and cherries. Bold flavor in this full bodied red. Leans towards the acidic side with a nice medium finish that leaves you wanting more.

Very dark purple with some nice legs in the glass. Beautiful black cherry, plum, black currant aromatics in the nose, very juicy. Upfront subtle and smooth with oaky notes, then the fruit and chocolate hits you on the mid palate. Nice grip from the tannins and a long finish that I throughly enjoyed. Definitely get a warming in the chest after drinking due to the 15% abv. Definitely gonna keep this one in stock.
Note: hit this with the vinturi Aerator and a decanter for 20-30 mins before trying. — 6 years ago
The nose is juicy and fruity. Medium to full body with a nice finish and a little bite from the tannins. My wife’s favorite! She has good taste. — 6 years ago
Big dark berries, vanilla, chocolate and some type of red fruit I can’t quite place, maybe cherries in the nose. Chocolate, vanilla, oak notes upfront with fruit following closely afterward. In the mid palate, oaky and tobacco notes. Nice finish. Definitely well done. My goto Grenache, gonna get a case! *used a decanter for about 30 mins and a vinturi aerator to open it up some. — 6 years ago
Important note, I hit this thing with the vinturi aerator into a decanter for about 20-30 mins. Right away you get smacked with lushes black fruits, plums and blackberries are the biggest hit for me upfront. Behind the fruit I do get some earthy tones. Mainly oak and some kinda spice like turmeric. On the palate, juicy to say the least. Very smooth and subtle for the alcohol content. In the mid palate, that spice comes into play. Not as grippy or chewy as I would like, but otherwise great structure/taste. — 6 years ago
Earthy on the nose and silky in the mouth. Not a huge mouthfeel and a bit metallic in taste. Didn’t get a lot of the “sweetness” corvina grapes are known for but it was still worth a try at the price point. — 6 years ago
Strong fragrance of black cherries and black current. The mouth feels velvety and smooth. Bold spices upfront like cinnamon or nutmeg favoring the former. On this one, those spices steal the show, they are strong upfront and linger on the finish which can be tasted long after that first sip. The fruit is also there but more so in the background which is new for me, but interesting. I personally love that grippy feel in a high tannic wine, so this was missing that for me. But overall, really enjoyed it! — 6 years ago

Plum, black cherries, blackberries in the nose with some licorice. On the palate, smooth in texture, black cherries comes through as well as an oaky vanilla flavor on the mid palate. Soft bite of dryness and a nice finish. Will definitely have this in stock as my go to zin. — 6 years ago
