For the price ~$6 it's not too bad, but there is a slight unpleasant sliminess. Deep purple with some highlights. Heavy stewed berries, woody, maybe cherry stones or the woody bits in raspberries. Some molasses, perhaps. Would be good with lamb stew or something hearty like a pork loin or even something gamey like rabbit — 9 years ago

Pretty good. A bit boozy, but pretty nice. Tart, acidic, light berries. Would be a nice bottle to bring to a party — 9 years ago
Very nice alternative to plain old chianti when having tomato heavy pasta — 9 years ago
Nice and big. New worldy for sure. A bit boozy perhaps, but pretty nice — 9 years ago

Long time favourite of mine. Easy to drink, but the price hides some of the lovely complexity of this wine. — 10 years ago
